Adults will have dinner w/o kids. How can kids use extra Table service credits? Can they be used for in-room dining? Can we pay for kids meals with Table service credits and pay cash for adult meals, if all Adult Table service credits are used up?

    Hi Roberta,

I think you're going to be impressed by the flexibility of the Disney Dining Plan on your next Walt Disney World vacation.  There are so many different ways you can use your table service credits.

You are welcome to split up your bill, paying cash for adult meals and using table service credits for your children's meals, if you like.  Just let your server know your plans when you order.  If you are ordering children's meals via in-room dining, you may use their credits to do so.  I have not found this to be a cost-effective use of table service credits but it is possible.  It certainly beats losing those credits entirely.

You could also ask servers at a table service restaurant where you are dining to package up an additional child's meal to go, if you feel you will have table service credits left over at the end of your stay.

Let us know if you need any additional pointers about using the Disney Dining Plan.  We'd be happy to provide whatever advice you may need.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
