Hello, We (4 adults 2 DD age 7) are traveling to WDW for the very first time in August 2016 staying in the Lion King Suite @ AoA. What are the must eat at Restaurants? Also, what are some activities that are a must do for 2 little "tomboy" prince

    Hi Davina,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I just came back from a stay in one of the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and I think that you’re in for a real treat.

I’m sure that each of my fellow panelists would give you a different list of "must do" restaurants! There are so many places for a feast at Walt Disney World Resort, you really can’t go wrong. My personal favourites that I think would appeal to your “tomboy princesses” (I LOVE that!) include: ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, The Garden Grill at Epcot and 50’s Prime Time Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As for activities, I can hardly wait until my little guy is old enough to appreciate the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage - my friends RAVE about it! They may also enjoy a Pirate Princess makeover at The Pirates League at Magic Kingdom Park or exploring Epcot’s World Showcase with Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. For more inspiration, be sure to check out the Planning for Older Kids, Tweens & Teens page.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Meet the Panelist: Lynne, Quebec

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
