We have 7 adults and 3 children-ages 4, 7 & 10 coming to WDW the end of Oct/beginning of Nov. This is the first visit for all of us! Any suggestions as to what to see,/what not to miss,/what to do for our first trip to WDW? Which parks are a must see?

    Hi Dawn!

Congratulations to all of you for taking your very first trip to Walt Disney World! You will be visiting during the perfect time of year to check out Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party held in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival, both are must do events! All of the parks are a must see because they each have some wonderfully unique attractions.  My top favorites in each park:

Magic Kingdom- The New Fantasyland,Haunted Mansion,Space Mountain,Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. The evening fireworks show Wishes, is an absolute must see for my family each and every time we visit.

Epcot- Soarin, Test Track, Mission to Mars,The Seas with Nemo and Friends are the top attractions at this park. World Showcase is a great place to check out different countries, with chances to eat some yummy treats and do some fabulous shopping.Illuminations: A reflections of Earth is a great way to top the day off at this park.

In Hollywood Studios my top favorites are Rock 'n Roller Coaster,Tower of Terror,Toy Story Midway Mania,Disney Junior Live on Stage,Voyage of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage and The Great Movie Ride.  This park is also home to the spectacular nighttime show Fantasmic!, this is an absolute must see and is arguably one of the best firework/laser shows in Walt Disney World.

In Animal Kingdom a top must do attraction is Kilimanjaro Safari, this is like actually being on an African Savannah. I suggest riding this one first thing in the morning while the animals are pretty active.  Expedition Everest and It's Tough To Be A Bug are also some top favorites in this park.Check out Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo The Musical as both of these shows are amazing!

I hope this helps with your planning and please visit us again if you have anymore questions!

    Happy Planning!
