Hi Nichelle! It is good to have a budget to start when planning your Disney vacation as there are so many options out there making it difficult.
After doing some checking with the different resorts you have several options. Because of the size of your family it does narrow things down a bit as I am sure you want to be in the same room if possible. One option is the
Fort Wilderness Cabins. These are one bedroom units complete with a fully equipped complete kitchen making it easy to prepare some of your own food to keep that cost down. There is a queen bed and two bunks in the bedroom with a queen sofa bed in the living area. It also includes dining table and chairs, bathroom, deck with picnic table, and a grill. A stay at the cabins this summer for five nights is approximately $2025. If you added on
Five Day Park Tickets for the family (not including the one you have) that cost is about $1660. That still leaves you quite a bit to take care of your meals during your stay and some souvenirs for the kids.
Another option is the
Art of Animation Resort where you can book a family suite. These have one bedroom with queen bed and two double sleeper sofa and table in the living area. The benefit here is that you will have two full bathrooms and a kitchenette in these suites. The cost without tickets is approximately $2140 for a five night stay. This resort will also offer dining plan options but you will have to purchase your tickets with the package. A complete package at this resort with room, tickets for 6 persons, and a regular dining package comes to about $5100.
