Hi there Paul, welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you're here with your great planning question.
Dining reservations for large parties can sometimes be challenging, but I do have some tips to share with you! If you are unsuccessful making a dining reservation for a party of 11, I would try making two separate reservations for 6 people and 5 people within 15 minutes of each other. You will need a friend with their own Disneyland Resort account to help you make a separate reservation since the system will not allow you to have 2 reservations so close together. When you get to the restaurant, I suggest kindly asking a Cast Member if your parties can be seated near each other so you can enjoy the character dining experience together. There are no guarantees, but it never hurts to ask nicely! If you have further questions or need more assistance, you can always reach out to
Guest Services, or begin a chat with a Cast Member on the
Disneyland app.
Our favorite
character breakfast experiences include
Goofy's Kitchen at the
Disneyland Hotel, and
Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Both offer a delicious breakfast buffet with something for everyone, my kids are always going for extra Mickey Mouse Waffles and bacon, and I am always headed straight for the Create-Your-Own Omelet Station! There are great opportunities to meet some of your favorite Disney pals at each breakfast, and we love to slow down and enjoy a character dining experience on a non-park day so we don't feel rushed to get into the parks.
I hope that you're able to secure your reservation for your upcoming trip Paul! If we can help with anything else before or after your trip, please
come back to planDisney!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
