We will have 3 adults and 2 children but only one will be tall enough to ride rides. Will we be able to use rider swap 3 times so we each are able to ride with the tall enough child say on SDMT?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Zachary! Rider Switch Service let the thrill riders in our family keep riding the big rides since my baby girl doesn’t quite measure up to favorites like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

This summer when our family was exploring Pandora: The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I made a FastPass+ reservation for my husband and son. We approached the line as a family and asked for rider switch. Then, while my little and I explored Windtraders, Dad and son entered the ride via the FP+ queue. Since the return Rider Switch Pass allows the companion and a buddy to return at a set time to ride, I took my son with me to ride afterwards. Your big kid can ride with Adult 1&2 and then again with Adult 3, as the buddy. The second “party” of riders doesn’t need a FP+ reservation scheduled since a complimentary one is assigned by a Cast Member. Rider Switch only allows ONE FP+ party return. If you want to ride along a third time one-on-one, you’ll have to use the standby line.

If I can help you flesh out other guest programs like Stroller Rentals, Events or Tours, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
