I am going with 10 adults and 3 children to Downtown Disney in February for dinner. We are trying to decide between the T-Rex restaurant and Rainforest Cafe. Two if the children will be 18 months and 14 months old. Will the T Rex restaurant be too scary?

Heather, you are bringing quite a crowd to visit the mouse. Walt Disney World is the perfect choice for your gang because every age loves the exuberant fun of the parks.

Both the Rainforest Cafe and the T-REX Cafe have low lighting, sound effects, and realistic displays. Toddlers will probably not find the dinosaurs at T-TEX Cafe any more frightening than the thunderstorm at Rainforest Cafe. With so much movement and stimulation in the restaurant, the roaring of a tyrannosaur becomes part of a myriad of activity rather an intense experience. The dinos are quite realistic, however, so if you feel one of these growling animatronics might be a bit much for the little ones in your party, opt for monkeys and tropical birds instead.
