We are 6 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 3 staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort In Oct/Nov this year, with the dining plan included. How are the gratuities charged as I understand some of the meals with attract this charge? Many thanks

    Hi Mary-Jane,

It certainly sounds like you are in for a fantastic time! My family have thoroughly enjoyed stays at Disney's Old Key West Resort during previous trips and LOVE the Disney Dining Plan!

Gratuities are not included unless otherwise indicated and an automatic 18% gratuity charge will be added to your bill for parties of 6 or more. An automatic gratuity charge may also be added to your bill for items you order that are not included in the Disney Dining Plan (for example, alcoholic beverages).

At the end of your meal, you will be required to present your Key To The World Card so that the appropriate table-service meal credits can be deducted from your Dining Plan entitlements and then it is up to you how you decide to pay for the gratuities. They can be paid by cash, credit card or charged to your room if your Key To The World Card has a credit card registered against it and is valid for charging.

I hope that this has explained the situation and wish you a magical holiday!
