Hi Sandra,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!
There is a tremendous amount of walking on a typical Walt Disney World day. There is so much fun to be had, and lots of places to walk to have the fun! My daughter was just about 5 years old when we gave up the stroller at Walt Disney World. There are certainly children older than that in a stroller at Walt Disney World!
There are absolutely lots of places to sit and rest throughout Walt Disney World. There are benches and areas to sit in so many places. My family likes to make a reservation for a sit-down meal midday at a theme park so that we stop and sit down for at least an hour and take a break.
If you decide that you want one, you can
rent a stroller at Walt Disney World. The link I provided also has information on featured providers, which are private companies that rent strollers for use at Walt Disney World. Please note that wagons are not permitted in the Walt Disney World theme parks. You can find that on the list of
restricted personal items, which also includes maximum dimensions for a stroller if you decide to bring your own.
I am not sure if you are looking for this information, but Walt Disney World also rents
electric conveyance vehicles and
wheelchairs if you need either of those.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Sandra. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
