are adults allowed to dress in cosume with the kids for the trick or treat with mickey?

    Hi Ted,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

If I understand your question correctly, you’re planning to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with your family, and you’re wondering whether there are any special costume guidelines that apply to that event.

Although Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules specify that Guests over the age of 14 may not wear costumes in the Theme Parks, Water Parks or ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, those rules are relaxed somewhat for some Special Events, including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This means that you can absolutely dress up and join in the fun with your kiddos, but you’ll need to respect some very specific costume guidelines, designed especially for these Special Events.

I hope my answer helps you have a spooky (but not TOO spooky) time with your little ones during your upcoming Disney Parks vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
