We are going with 6 adults and 1 very active 3 year old in October. I am trying to plan our trip and we want to go to the Cape May Cafe for dinner one night. Do you think our 3 year old would be ok sitting through dinner here?

    Hi Brook,

As a mother of three, I can say that taking my children to restaurants can sometimes stress me out.  Will they behave appropriately?  Will we be able to enjoy the meal, or will we have to inhale our food and get out of there before our youngest has a complete melt down?  The great thing about dining at Disney is that they know how to deal with little ones.  If there ever was a place that I didn't worry about how my child was going to behave or if they would enjoy the meal - Disney would be that place.

I think your 3 year old will be fine at Cape May Cafe.  The food is served buffet style, so there is no waiting for orders to be taken and food to be prepared - instant gratification.  It's a casual atmosphere, and certainly not super quiet.  You should be able to have a relaxing meal and enjoy the company of the other adults in your party.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
