Patricia from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have an adult women’s group of between 20-30 who want to visit Epcot on April 23. Is there someone I can talk with to help plan our day? Thanks!

    Hi Patricia! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! What a great idea! Getting a group together to spend a fun-filled day at EPCOT sounds like the perfect day! There is something for everyone to enjoy there, between the attractions, experiences, and dining. I don't know too many places where you can experience a variety of cultures by exploring the countries in the World Showcase. Coordinating with a large group can be tricky, but with a well-thought-out plan, your group should be able to handle it.

First things first, make sure everyone purchases a park ticket for that day. For anyone that is an Annual Pass Holder, have them check that this date is not a blockout date for them. Everyone will then need to make a park reservation for EPCOT. Currently, EPCOT is showing full availability on this date, but I would highly recommend securing these reservations now since availability is constantly changing.

I suggest finding a central point toward the front of the park for everyone to meet at. EPCOT is still undergoing some refurbishments and construction so it can be difficult to navigate the area. Once everyone is together, it might be fun to start with a few attractions, specifically Soarin' Around the World. For me, this ride is perfect for groups since so many can ride at one time. I would also take advantage of the other rides toward the front of the park at this point. Since EPCOT is a big park, going back and forth from World Nature or World Discovery to the World Showcase can get tiring.

For dining on this day, you have countless options. The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be taking place during your visit. This is my favorite festival of the year, mostly for how beautiful the park transforms with topiaries and flower displays everywhere! There are food and drink booths set up throughout the park but mostly centered around the World Showcase. Each one has a different type of cuisine that represents the country you are in. This is great for large groups because everyone should be able to find something they like. You have the flexibility to grab and go and check out the variety of entertainment that EPCOT is known for. There always seems to be music playing around every corner.

It's definitely possible that everyone will split into smaller groups throughout the day. I would recommend getting everyone together with an hour or so before Harmonious begins. This is the new nighttime spectacular that is taking place every evening at EPCOT. I was blown away by how amazing this show is between the firework display, projections, and the music. I found standing toward entry to the World Showcase or on the opposite side by the American Pavilion to be the best vantage points. Watching this show with your group will be a great unifying experience for everyone to enjoy together.

Patricia, I hope this information helps you navigate your day! Please stop back anytime to planDisney before your trip with any questions!

    See ya real soon!
