Ahoy, Phillip!
Thanks for cruising on over to planDisney! It sounds like this might be your first time sailing with Disney Cruise Line. If so, welcome aboard! Believe me when I tell you you'll be
HOOK-ed. . .and I'm not just referring to Captain Hook and the
Pirate Night fun! The wide range of entertainment, dining, and onboard activities ensures that every Guest, from the young to the young-at-heart, has plenty to enjoy while at sea!
Phillip, regardless of which ship or itinerary you're considering, there are
many adult-exclusive areas and activities onboard - including trivia. I most recently sailed on the
Disney Dream in January, and there were several trivia games offered each day of our cruise. Some of these were family-friendly games that both kids and adults were welcome to participate in, while others were offered in the nightclubs and lounges and were reserved specifically for adults. Exact offerings and times will vary by sailing, but we found opportunities to participate in trivia both during the day and in the evenings. There were occasions when trivia times conflicted with our
dinner seating or
an evening show, but with so many trivia options available, we didn't feel we needed to miss anything. In case you were wondering, a few examples of some of the adults-only trivia available during our sailing included 80's Music Trivia, Disney Parks Trivia, TV Theme Song Trivia, and Disney Cruise Line Trivia.
If you're interested in trying one of the
adult-exclusive dining experiences during your cruise, I can't recommend them enough! My husband and I never miss an opportunity to dine at
Palo when we sail on the Disney Dream. In the past, we've often had dinner reservations; however, on our most recent cruise, we had the opportunity to grab a brunch reservation during our day at sea. The menu was phenomenal from top to bottom, but I think my favorite item was the Spicy Italian Sausage Pizza. These dining experiences do carry an additional cost, but the quality and the quantity of the food are well worth it!
