Hey there Tera,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I always love getting the opportunity to answer questions from a fellow resident of the Grand Canyon State.
The
overall price of admission will depend on the type of ticket you purchase. Each Guest entering the park who is three or older will need a valid
theme park ticket and
theme park reservation. Depending on how long you're planning on visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, you can either purchase a 1-Day Ticket or Multi-Day Ticket.
If you're planning on a 1-Day Ticket, the cost will depend on the date of your visit and is based on a tiered cost system (Tier 0-6 with Tier 6 being the most expensive price). From my experience, the more expensive tickets are typically busier days in the parks. There is a great
1-Day Ticket frquently asked questions page that covers a great breakdown of the different tiers and includes the dates for 2023 or you can check the
1-Day Ticket Calendar when purchasing your tickets.
If you're planning on Multi-Day Tickets, then the rates get better the longer you stay. For example, my family and I were planning to drive into Anaheim for our trip last year on a Monday afternoon, but not actually start visiting the parks until the following morning (we initially purchased 3-Day Tickets). However, when I did the math, I realized that upgrading our tickets to 4-Day tickets was only $35 more per person! So, I
called a Cast Member at the Guest Information line who helped me with the upgrade.
For these Multi-Day Tickets, the prices for children's tickets (aged 3-10) cost a bit less than the adult tickets, but keep in mind again that all Guests aged three or older will need their own ticket when visiting. If you have a kiddo under the age of three, then they can enter the parks for free!
Thanks again for your question, Tera! I hope you have a great time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
