Hi Katherine,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am delighted to hear that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort! It sounds like you have booked a vacation package. If so, anyone added to that vacation package would have the same type package, number of nights in the resort hotel and number of days for theme park tickets. If your son only needs 4-Day tickets, you could just purchase his theme park tickets separately.
As you continue to plan, be sure to consider making
advanced dining reservations. Mark your
advanced reservation booking window date on your calendar. I recommend Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera for breakfast, Space 220 Lounge, and California Grill. My girls and I love dining at California Grill during the
Happily Ever After fireworks. Since your son is joining you, also consider adding a special experience from the
Enchanting Extras Collection. We have done a few and loved each unique experience, particularly
Caring For Giants and
Up Close with Rhinos. Looking at your arrival date, I also hope you have taken a look at the
Waterpark Benefit for 2025 Resort Guests!
Katherine, if your son is flying, be sure he has considered transportation to and from the airport to the resort hotel. Review the details of
Lightning Lane passes and, as it gets closer to your arrival date, be sure to check the
park hours for the days of your visit. If you have not already added
Memory Maker, I hope you consider it. Memory Maker gives you access to the digital downloads of your PhotoPass® Service photos - my family now practices their poses and those photos bring back so much joy and laughter from every visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
