Hi Sarah,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
It sounds like you have the “Pirate”
Annual Pass already linked in your
My Disney Experience account and you’re trying to transfer it to another person? Annual Passes and tickets are non-transferrable. For example, you wouldn’t be able to change the name on the Pirates Pass from your name to someone else’s so they can use it.
Now, if the Pirate Pass for a friend or family member is linked in your account and you’re trying to get it to show up in their My Disney Experience account, you’ll simply need to share your plans. If the guest doesn’t have a My Disney Experience, they will need to create an account before you share so you can make your plans together and they flow into that guest’s account.
Once the guest has their own account, in your
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three lines in the right corner. Next scroll down to “My Profile” then select the “Family & Friends List” from there, add that individual to your account and make sure their name matches the Pass. Once the name is entered or if it’s already there, press their name and select “Send Email”. Once that guest accepts your invitation, you’ll be sharing plans and you can book for one another.
Now, if the above steps don’t work or you have further questions about linking the pass or sharing plans, you can always reach out to the
Annual Passholders help desk!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful in your planning. If you have any other vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
