I am an adult who is a picky eater. I am going to book the Wild Africa Trek and know that the food offered is not for me. Is it possible to get something else to eat, like chicken nuggets?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Carrie ~

I am a huge fan of the tours at Disney and the Wild Africa Trek is one of my new favorites.  While I am a thrill seeker, I'll admit I am not always an adventurous eater. I was little skeptical about whether or not I would like the food they served during the snack portion of the safari.  However, I like to try to get the full experience so I decided to go in with an open mind and palate.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoyed a lot of the selections that they offered.  I loved the chicken curry salad.

If you have any specific dietary concerns, they should be able to accommodate you.  When my son did the tour with me, they gave him a kid's snack that included mini roll-ups, carrot sticks and trail mix.  Just make sure you discuss your needs when you book your tour.  The tour is only 3 hours so you could also make sure you eat prior to your tour just to be safe.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions.  Its our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
