Hiya Gail! Welcome to planDisney!
With summer just around the corner, your
Walt Disney World Vacation will be here before you know it! Soon enough, you’ll be joining in on the party of a lifetime with your family during Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. You're going to absolutely love visiting during this special time with the extra sprinklings of pixie dust all around Walt Disney World in honor of
The World's Most Magical Celebration. If you’re like me and go on vacation specifically for the food, you definitely won't want to miss the limited-time special EARidescent treats available through the parks, including The Crooning Flower float available at
Aloha Isle in
Magic Kingdom Park. It’s a lime, and vanilla soft serve over a pineapple float - how good does that sound?!
Now, on to your question, Gail! The credit card linked directly to your
My Disney Experience account can only be used by you with your specific login credentials. This credit card is for in-app purchases, like Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, Shop in Store app purchases, and
Disney Genie Service purchases. So, the adult Guests linked in your Family & Friends Lists would not have access to this credit card.
However, suppose you’re staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel with these Guests in your room and would like all purchases and incidentals consolidated into one place. In that case, you can set them up to be able to make charges to your room account via their
MagicBand or Key to the World Card. Then, you can pay off those charges on your preferred credit card at check out. To do this, you’ll first want to make sure all members of your party are linked to your My Disney Experience account and linked as Guests on your hotel reservation. Then, log into your My Disney Experience app, and head to “My Profile” by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Next, select “Payment Method” and toggle over to “Disney Resort Hotel Guest Pin.” Then, click on “Set Room Account PIN,” and select the Guests you would like to set up and choose a four-digit pin that will be used to authorize charges to your room account. Finally, submit, and you are all set! If you have any trouble with the steps above, I would definitely recommend reaching out to the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team by calling (407) 939-1936. One of the incredible Cast Members on this team will be happy to assist you!
I do hope this has been helpful, Gail! Please feel free to pop back over with any other questions as you finalize your vacation plans. We would love to help you make the absolute most of your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!
See you real soon!
