Ahoy there, Lien! Thanks for cruising by with your dreamy question.
The
planDisney class of 2024 embarked on an adventure of epic proportions aboard the
Disney Dream just this past December. I am happy to get out my monocle and answer your question!
While
Disney Cruise Line excels at family-friendly cruises, they do an equally fantastic job of creating spaces for adult-only time. Aboard the Dream, you can relax and enjoy the Quiet Cove Pool with a drink in perfect serenity. And at
Cove Café you can sit on the plush furniture and enjoy the quiet of an adult-only longue throughout the day. I particularly enjoyed their specialty coffee drinks and cocktails - there was something new to try each time I visited!
Lien, you will want to refer to the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard for the exact opening times for all the bars and lounges. And, after 9:00 PM, you'll want to check out The District (Deck 4, Aft) as it turns into an entertainment area for Guests 18 years of age and older. The District includes
District Lounge,
Evolution,
Pub 687, Skyline, and
Pink: Wine and Champagne Bar. My friends and I enjoyed weaving our way through this area and discovering the entertainment, dancing, and cocktails each night of the cruise. My planDisney pal
JoVonn loved the quiet ambiance of
Skyline, which transformed every few minutes to give sweeping views of some of the world's most scenic cities.
Meridian (on Deck 12, Aft) between Palo and Remy is also a must-try adult lounge. My pals
Nilson and
Brent and I enjoyed this space on the last night of our trip. The Crew Members could not have been more helpful and fun while describing different drinks to us. My only regret was not discovering this amazing location sooner!
Lien, on any Disney Cruise, numerous
Beverage Tasting Seminars are available to book. I highly recommend these experiences as they are informative and fun! My pals
Jana and
Lizzie enjoyed a Tequila & Margarita Tasting, where they got to go behind the bar and mix their drinks. Guests can sign up for these during their advanced booking window or by visiting Guest Services once onboard.
I hope this information helps, Lien. May you have a once-upon-a-dream cruise! Please visit again and
ask me any other questions you may have.
Cheers,
Melissa
