Can you is an adult dress up at Disneyland, California the day of the dead like characters with make up and enter the park?

Welcome to planDisney, Carman. It sounds like a visit during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is in order and I'm delighted to help you get ready.

Unfortunately, the guidelines for park attire state that costumes and masks or headwear that covers the face may not be worn by Guests aged 14 and older. Costumes can be worn during special events like Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. If you are attending this event, I recommend perusing the costume guidelines. While the guidelines don't specifically mention face paint, I'm inclined to think that any face paint that disguises your identity may not be allowed. As an alternative, you might consider some lighter makeup that suggests the spirit of Día de los Muertos. Keep in mind that Cast Members will have the final say in what is not allowed, so be prepared to make any adjustments as needed.

I love visiting Disneyland during the spooky season. We're less than two months away from all the fall fun and festivities. I can't wait to see the giant Mickey pumpkin greeting me on Main Street, U.S.A. Make sure to download the Disneyland app for your visit - there's usually a digital guide to all the fun that's super helpful.

Well, Carman, while this might not have been the answer you were hoping for, I hope the information I shared is still helpful. Here's wishing you a ghoulishly good time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
