    My adult daughters and I are staying at POR 9/25-10/04. What areas would be best to request for updated rooms and fairly close to main lobby? Would Magnolia Bend or Alligator Bayou be a better choice? I have a reservation with a garden view. Thanks

    Hi Lisa,

    You are going to love the peaceful and serene atmosphere of Port Orleans Riverside. I love the southern charm of this place and think you and your daughters will too.

    I would highly recommend the Magnolia Bend area as it is fashioned after the antebellum manors of the deep south. The buildings have elegant touches such as the columns and grand staircases and courtyards are beautifully manicured. Alligator Bayou as a more rustic feel since it is fashioned after the weathered homes along the mossy bayou.

    The buildings that are closest to the main lobby are Oak Manor in Magnolia Bend and building 14 in Alligator Bayou. However, Magnolia Terrace in Magnolia bed is very close to the East Depot for bus transportation.

    Keep in mind that special requests can be made and they will do their best to accommodate you, however, they cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability.
