My adult daughter and I just picked out all the restaurants we want to make reservations at but they are requiring a credit card to make the reservation. We will be using our dining plan. How do we indicate we are using dining plan?

Hello Susan!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

All reservations at Walt Disney World now require a credit card be placed on file to hold your reservation. Nothing will be charged to your account at the time of booking.  When you arrive at the restaurant, your server will ask you if you are on the Disney Dining Plan and then you will be able to pay using your credits. The only time your credit card would ever be charged, is if you were to miss your reservation all together. No showing at your reserved restaurant can result in a $10.00 fee per person.

I hope this helps clear up some confusion!  If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back here and ask me.  Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
