Anne from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My adult daughter is coming from Michigan. I purchased 2 tickets for Disneyland. We planned to attend Disneyland on July 11, 2022. I have come down with Shingles and don't know if I can attend. Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Hello there, Anne! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your question!

I'm so sorry to hear that you had plans for a fabulous day at Disneyland Resort with your daughter and now you aren't feeling well. What a bummer! I am hoping that between then and now you will be feeling much better and can still attend. However, if you are not feeling up to it you can let someone else use the ticket you purchased for yourself or you can save it and use it later.

If you wish to let someone else use your ticket you should be good to go with just sharing the ticket information with them. However, you can also just cancel and reschedule your reservation for another date if you still want to use your ticket.

To cancel your reservation, you would log into your Disney account, hover over "My Disneyland" and then click on "Ticket and Reservation Details". On this page, you will click "View My Park Reservations". This will take you to another page and when you scroll down you should see your upcoming reservations and to the right of those reservations you will have the option to click on "Cancel Reservation". Click on this and it will take you through the steps to cancel your reservation. Then when you have figured out when you want to rebook your reservation, you would go back to the "Ticket and Reservation Details" page, click on "Make Park Reservations", and continue with the steps to book a new ticket.

You can also cancel and book theme park ticket reservations through the Disneyland app

Anne, I really hope you are feeling better soon and can enjoy a day full of magic with your daughter. If you have any other questions, please stop back by and let us answer!
