Ahoy there, Debi! I’m so glad you sailed by planDisney ahead of your cruise this spring.
From frosty drinks poolside to a pre-dinner cocktail at
Cove Café, there are quite a few ways to enjoy an adult beverage aboard Disney Cruise Line. Each time I cruise, I discover a new drink or lounge that quickly becomes a favorite. For example, I finally got to try the famous “Sweet Nightingale” served at
Nightingale’s piano bar on the
Disney Wish last month: a delightful blend of Hendricks Amazonia, Passion Fruit, Rosemary, and Mint.
Another way to discover a new tasty treat is to participate in one of the many
Beverage Tastings offered. From mimosas and margaritas to champagne and chocolate liquors, these experiences are a fun, adult-exclusive way to find a new favorite and enjoy the ambiance of the themed lounges at sea. Because of their popularity, space does tend to fill up quickly, so I recommend
making reservations in advance.
If you plan to enjoy beer or wine throughout your sailing, head over to
Onboard Gifts where you will discover savings on packages purchased prior to your sail date. Disney Cruise Line also allows you to
bring limited quantities of alcohol on board, both at the start of your trip and at each port of call.
Finally, I’ve found that no matter what ship I’m sailing on, if I let a member of the Beverage Crew know what I like, they’re happy to make a handcrafted drink just for me. If you prefer to be surprised and enjoy some additional savings, consider indulging in the Drink of the Day option.
I hope this helps wet your whistle for your upcoming trip. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to circle back to our
planDisney crew!
Bon voyage,
Sami
