We have ADR's at Storybook dining. How long will it take us to get to Wilderness lodge from Magic Kingdom? And how much time should we allow to get there? Thank you! Cheryl

Hello Cheryl and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I must say I am a bit envious of your upcoming reservation at Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White! My friends that have visited this Enchanted Forest have told me that is is fantastic!

In my opinion, the best way to get from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Wilderness Lodge is via the direct red flag boat route that travels between the two. That ride is approximately eight minutes in duration. However, you could wait up to 10 - 12 minutes for a boat, so make sure you plan for that. The blue flag boats take longer as it makes multiple stops. However, my family loves the relaxing nature of these boat rides and often opts for the more extended trip if we have time.

We also like to build in extra time to take a walk around Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The grounds and lobby are beautiful and interesting to peruse. So, I would plan on getting to the boat launch at least 40 minutes before your reservation. This allows for any delays and gives you time to enjoy the Resort.

I hope you have a wonderful visit with Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and- if you dare, the Evil Queen!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
