I have all of our ADRs planned for WDW trip. Today my DD2 saw the Disney planning video and says she cant wait to meet Mickey Mouse! Should I add in a character meal with Mickey, or are we likely to see him at the MK? Don't want to wait in line w 3 kids..

    Hi Crystal!

If you are thinking about booking a character meal with Mickey Mouse, I highly recommend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort. Chef Mickey's serves breakfast and dinner and has a handful of characters to meet including Mickey himself. At times during your meal, the characters lead a parade around the restaurant and the monorail can be seen gliding by overhead from time to time. We have eaten both breakfast and dinner here in the past and found the buffets to be well stocked with a wide variety of delicious food. The character interaction has also always been really great in our experience. If you have an opening in your schedule and can get a reservation, I think you would enjoy the experience!

However, if you can't fit in another meal or have a hard time securing a reservation, all hope is not lost! You can meet Mickey at the Judge's Tent in Toontown at the Magic Kingdom. Here, you can tour through Mickey's house and then meet him for photos and autographs. There is usually a line, but if you arrive right at the opening of Toontown or later in the evening, you may find the wait to be pretty short.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
