We have ADRs for Cinderella's Royal Table at 8:05am on August 22. The Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 9am. Considering the time it takes for breakfast, where would be directed to go if we are finished eating before rope drop / park opening?

Hi Annamarie!  Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table is the perfect way to begin your day in the Magic Kingdom!

First, as a "mom", I must advise you, "don't rush breakfast"!  It's not good for your digestion, and furthermore, when will you ever have the opportunity to eat your Mickey waffles in a castle with lovely princesses?  Savor your time there, take all the amazing photos you can, and eat that hearty breakfast so you'll have plenty of energy for the day!

If you do finish before the official "rope drop" (opening time in Disney speak), you will find that the different "lands" are still roped off around the hub (Cinderella's Castle forecourt) area, preventing entrance to those areas until the official opening time.  However, you are more than welcome to hang around those areas to be one of the very first guests to enter the land of your choice, getting the jump on everyone else who will still be waiting for "rope drop" outside the park.  So, you might be the first one to ride Splash Mountain that day!

Or, another great idea (if I do say so myself) is to head back to Main Street, U.S.A. where you will feel as if you have it all to yourselves (a rare feeling there!).  You will be able to take some incredible photos, and enjoy the peacefulness of one of the most beautiful areas of the park in that early morning hour before the mad morning rush sets in.

I hope you enjoy your royal breakfast and have a magical time in Walt Disney World!
