We have ADR's the beginning of May for T-Rex, Ranglan Road, and San Angel Inn, all of which are not on the DP yet. All other ADR's are. Should I start thinking about changing or wait a little longer?

    Jaynee:

    Thanks for the question!

Don't let this give you heartburn. Every year since I've been on the Moms Panel, this question comes up. It seems, based on history, that some of the restaurants which are not run directly by Disney do not make the initial "cut" for inclusion in the Disney Dining Plan printed materials, but will in time. My family, in fact, has reservations at San Angel Inn in May and in my research for that trip I haven't seen anything indicating that it won't be on the dining plan this year as it was last year. However, as you've noted, all three are not in the official printed materials at this time, so keep an eye on the dining plan link above in the meantime for updates.

Another reason I wouldn't be concerned right now is that I've found with the new online dining reservation system and its mandatory credit card required for many of the table service restaurants, there is an abundance of reservations available now closer into your desired date of dining. (I snagged one for next week's Marathon Weekend just days ago at the coveted 'Ohana.)

    Enjoy your trip!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
