I have 5:10 ADR at the Yachtsman and want to spend some time on the Boardwalk. Is it ok to take young children (DD4 and DS 7months) here? I thought maybe that early there wouldn't be a lot of,couples. Is the Boardwalk active that early? You are great!

    Hi Kristen:

There is no problem taking young children to Yachtsman and then for a pleasant early-evening stroll on the Boardwalk. The Boardwalk tends to get more crowded as the sun goes down. That's when many of the street performers come out and perform their acts. My five-year old and three-year old enjoyed watching a magician perform on the Boardwalk during our last trip. As the evening got later, the Boardwalk got more crowded. But if your son is in a stroller and your daughter stays close, you may feel more comfortable as the night goes on. However, with such an early start, it's unlikely that you'll find the Boardwalk to be too crowded for your tastes.

    Enjoy your vacation.
