    Have ADR at Whispering Canyon and want to go to Fort Wilderness for Chip and Dale singalong afterwards. How do we get to Fort Wilderness from Whispering Canyon and how long will it take?

    Hi Aimee!

    Both of these are great family activities!  It is very easy to get from the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness.  Just leave the restaurant and walk past the pool area to the boat dock on Bay Lake.  There is a boat that runs between the Contemporary Resort, Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness.  It's a very relaxing and enjoyable ride to Fort Wilderness. 

    Unfortunately, it is a very long walk from the Fort Wilderness boat dock to the Campfire Sing-Along with Chip & Dale which is held near the Meadow Trading Post.  So instead, hop on the internal bus system and tell the driver that you want to get off at the Meadow Trading Post.  From the boat dock, walk about 5 minutes past Pioneer Hall to the closest bus stop.

    I would plan on the whole trip taking about 45 minutes.  That assumes you have to wait for the boat and the bus, but doesn't assume that you just missed both by a few seconds.  If you absolutely don't want to be late to the Campfire Sing-Along then I would suggest planning on an hour!
