I have an ADR @ Whispering Canyon first time on the dining plan, will I be able to get the smores cheesecake for dessert or do they tell you which dessert you can get? Also, can u suggest some good places for snacks and cntr srvc meals in the 4 parks? : )

When my family ate at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in September of last year I was able to order the S'more Cheesecake for dessert without any trouble at all.  In fact, between the five adults in our party, we were able to order one of each item on the dessert menu.  While the cheesecake was certainly tasty, I think we came to a unanimous decision that the Apple Caramel Pie was by far the best option.

As for some good counter service and snack locations in the parks, here are my suggestions:

Magic Kingdom: Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square offered a to-die-for chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich made with freshly-baked cookies that were still warm and gooey enough to make the ice cream melt just enough.  Mmmm good!

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ had some very good options for a quick counter service meal.  My husband still raves about the BBQ sauce.  For snacks, we really liked the fresh and flavorful options at the Harambe Fruit Market.  The cups of pineapple, grapes, and watermelon really served to rehydrate and refuel us on a hot late summer afternoon.

Hollywood Studios: Starring Rolls offered both counter service meals and snack options.  At breakfast time you can choose between all sorts of pastries.  Later on in the afternoon they have specialty sandwiches available.  It is centrally located and in my experience it hasn't been very crowded, though it is a small place.  The tables outside make a great place to sit and people watch while you eat.

Epcot: I recommend the Tangierine Cafe for a quick service meal.  They offer delicious choices that are unique, but not so much so that you have to think twice about ordering something.  And when it comes to snacks, your choices are endless.  It's fun to make a meal out of snacking around the countries of the World Showcase.

Dining options are so fun at WDW.  Enjoy the feast!
