We have an ADR at Teppen Edo, my 10 year old is no longer considered a child but he does not eat very much. Would it be possible to share a meal with him since we are paying out of pocket?

    Hello Stephanie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!

My family absolutely loves Teppan Edo. It is actually my husband’s favorite restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort. The food is extremely fresh and service is impeccable. My daughter has so much fun watching the chef perform fun tricks and prepare everything right there in front of us.

We visited with a party of 4 last time (my husband, my mother, my 6-year-old daughter and I) and decided to order 3 adult entrées because our little one does not each much. It was not a problem and she was able to share a little bit from every adult. However, I suggest talking to your server because although your son is already 10, it is very common to see even adult Guests order from kid’s menus sometimes for several reasons. In addition, some Guests might think adult entrées at this restaurant don’t come with as much food as expected. Our family has never had an issue with food quantity here and we always left feeling satisfied, but I have seen Guests comment they wish there was a bit more. Keep this in mind while ordering, talk to your server and think about your child's preferences.

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you have a magical visit to Teppan Edo!
