ADR: Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater for 9 ppl (2 families). Would we have to be seated at tables in the back? We'd really like to sit in the cars, even if it's split into two. Is this possible? Our party is 4 adults and 5 kids (13/9/8/3/3)

    Hello, Joy,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Dining at Disney's Hollywood Studios' Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is such a unique experience.  The campy film clips from the 1950s are an absolute hoot and so much fun!  Getting to experience the nostalgia of a classic drive-in theater, especially with a younger generation, is so incredibly special.

When you check-in at the restaurant, I'd let the cast member know that you would like to sit in the cars and that you understand that you will need to split up your party. I know when we've been there with larger groups, we ended up with two cars that were next to each other so we didn't feel like we were divided up, and I'd encourage you to ask for that, too. Disney will certainly do all they can to accommodate your request, but please know that sometimes it may not work out.

Have a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further Walt Disney World questions. -Kara
