I have ADR for Rainforest Cafe at 4:30 pm, for my sons 4th birthday. That was all I could get. I would like to know if Boma would be a better fit and what sort of kid activites they have for kids and a menu.

    Hi Andrew!

I personally love Boma and think it is one of the best restaurants on Walt Disney World.  I think it is definitely the best buffet in Walt Disney World.

That said, the answer isn't black and white.  Your child might enjoy the Rainforest Cafe much more; in fact, I think he will enjoy it much more or he will be frighten by the audio-animatronic animals in there and the loud noises (like thunder during a simulated rain storm).  Unfortunately, only you know how your son might behave.

Personally, for your son's birthday party, I would be tempted to go to the Rainforest Cafe.  If he's not frighten, he will really enjoy it.  I have two boys, now 12 and 8, and when each was four, one absolutely loved the Rainforest Cafe and wanted to go there for every meal; the other was so-so about it and that was mostly because he was easily frightened by the loud noises.

To see the menu for any restaurant at Walt Disney World, I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  There you can find the menu, including prices, for all of the Quick Service and Table Service restaurants.  Just click on Walt Disney World and then Dining.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
