We have ADR for 50's Prime Time on the 3/24 and are wondering if the menu is written in stone? Can a veggie be substituuted for another veggie? My hubby wants to order the chicken but hates collard greens and loves green beans, can he ask to substitute?

    Hi Linda:

Thankfully, Disney makes a huge effort to provide satisfying dining experiences for its guests, and very few menu items are written in stone. I have picky eaters in my family (I call them sophisticated eaters), and have always had great luck asking for substitutions at Disney restaurants, including at 50's Prime Time Café. At any Disney dining establishment, even at a counter-service restaurant, do not be afraid to make a special food request. If Disney is able to honor your request, they will be happy to do so. So go ahead and ask for the substitution and switch the southern collard greens that come with the fried chicken for the green beans that generally come with the pork loin, steak, and meatloaf dishes.

    Enjoy your vacation.
