We have ADR for 50's Prime Time at 5:50 and MVMCP tickets for 7pm should we move up our dinner reservations to make the MVMCP on time. 1st time at WDW not sure how much time is needed to get around WDW. Thank you for the information.

Chances of making it to Magic Kingdom on time for the start of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Samuel, are slim.  You should plan on dinner taking an hour or so.  If you're using Disney transportation to get from Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom, you should allow about forty-five minutes to an hour travel time.  If you're driving a personal or rented vehicle, plan on about twenty minutes.  If it's important to you to be at the party the moment it starts, I'd recommend changing your reservation time, or eating somewhere closer to the Magic Kingdom.  You might check into Kona Cafe, The Wave, or Whispering Canyon Cafe.  Have a wonderful time at Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
