If I make an ADR for 7 people, can I later reduce it to 4 people? We have family members who are not yet sure if they can make the trip. We don't want to miss out on a family dinner, but we also want to make sure we can get to BOG and Chef Mickey's!

Hi Elizabeth! Having to plan dining reservations so far in advance sometimes can be difficult to know exactly the correct count for each meal. It is best to guess for the maximum you will need as getting it changed later on can be next to impossible.

Keep the reservation you have and do not cancel it thinking you can get a smaller table. Once you cancel that opening is up for grabs and it is likely you won't get it back. When I arrive at my resort and know there is going to be a large difference in the number of a certain reservation I ask the resort concierge to make a call if they think it is necessary. Otherwise I simply show up at the correct time and alert them that only five persons were able to make it versus eight or whatever the numbers might be. I don't like to keep reservations that are not going to be used so I do let the resort concierges decide if they can alter it without losing the reservation.

Most that require a credit card are simply using that card to hold your place and you will only be charged for the number that show up for that meal.
