Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donna!
Advance Dining Reservations are a guaranteed way for my family to have a cool, sit-down meal which gives our feet a rest and our bellies what they are looking for; great food!
Our family prides ourselves on trying a new-to-us restaurant every time we visit Walt Disney World Resort. This summer, we had a chance to dine at
Jungle Skipper Canteen, where we pushed the boundaries of everyday food and had lots of great laughs. I had originally made the reservation for the four of us, but when we snagged a last second slot at the Pixar Play Zone for my son, our party of four shrunk to three. It was too late to edit my party number on
My Disney Experience Mobile App, so instead, I let my Hostess know there were only three of us to dine. Typically, doing “down” in a reservation isn’t a problem, as long as one dinner party member makes it to the meal, there will not be a $10/per person cancellation charge. Of course, it is best to either edit your reservation online as soon as you can, or have your reservation confirmation number handy and contact as Cast Member at (407) 939-1936. Going “up” in member number can be an issue, as tables are generally grouped to accommodate a certain number of bodies (including infants).
If I can help you find your way around the Advance Dining Reservations system or recommend a new eatery, please let me know. I’ve got a rumbly in my tumbly after all this tasty talk! ~ Lindsey P.
