Hi Julie!
I am excited to see you have a dining reservation for dinner at
'Ohana. It is one of my favorite dinners at Walt Disney World. It's much more than just a dinner, it's a total experience. From the second you check in to the restaurant, you are immediately transported to the Hawaiian islands and become a cousin to everyone. The dinner is all-you-care-to-enjoy served right to your table. Bread, salad and appetizers kick start the meal. Make sure to try the pork dumplings tossed in garlic-ginger sauce, they are my favorite. Next up, meat skewers of shrimp, steak and pork make their way to your table. But be sure to save some room because 'Ohana serves one of the best desserts on Walt Disney World property, the classic 'Ohana bread pudding a la mode with caramel sauce and bananas. Oh, it's so good! During your meal, children will be invited to participate in coconut races around the restaurant and everyone is encouraged to get up and dance the Hula.
Keeping this in mind, I think you would really be pushing it to make it over to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the 8:30 show of
Fantasmic!. I think you could probably eat in enough time, but you wouldn't be getting the full experience or value of what you are paying for. What might be a better option is to stay and watch the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks,
Happily Ever After. Depending on the time, you might be able to watch the show right from your table. The restaurant actually dims the lights and pipes in the music. When you check in, request a window table and you'll have an incredible view. If you're finished with your meal, you can still enjoy the fireworks from just about anywhere at this resort.
