We have ADR for Ohana on 10/23 at7:30. We are staying at ASMo and plan to use bus to Magic Kingdom and then a boat to the Polynesian. How much travel time should we plan to make our ressie? Tx

    Hello, Cindy!

You are going to love dinner at Ohana! I had the pleasure of eating there just last month and we all really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service. Great choice!

Disney Dining will tell Guests to allow 1 1/2 hours for Walt Disney World transportation, and I think that that's a good suggestion. Keep in mind that travel estimates include the time it takes to get from Point A to Point B, but you may get to your bus stop right after a Magic Kingdom bus has left (which means that it might be 15-20 minutes until another one arrives.) Add that to your travel time, too. Next, I'd suggest that you take a monorail from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Polynesian Resort. While I love the boats and the breeze on the water, I don't like to use them if I have a quicker alternative, and the monorails tend to run more frequently than the boats.

So, if you're at the bus stop at  Disney's All-Star Movies Resort at 6:00 p.m., you will probably arrive to your Ohana reservation early. However, you may make it just in time if there is a delay with either the bus or the monorail / boat leg of your journey. Disney's Polynesian Resort is so lovely, though, with so much to look at and enjoy, arriving early would be a great plan.

Enjoy your stay and your wonderful dinner at Ohana!

Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
