Have ADR on Nov.28 for 1900 park fare dinner. At check in can I request to be in main dining room. Will they try to meet request. Saw answer to another question that there was a difference in atmosphere in the different areas. Good or Bad? Thanks for help

Hey, Carlene! Yes, you can request with the host/hostess to be in the main dining room at 1900 Park Fare upon check in.  Of course, your request is subject to availability, and you may have to wait a bit longer depending on how large your traveling party is. In my opinion, the atmosphere is different in the outlying dining areas rather than the main dining room. The characters do come to all the tables, but there's nothing like being in there with Big Bertha (the pipe organ). Yet, some guests may like the quieter rooms without the organ music or the tall ceilings of the main dining room. I just like to be in the center of all the action!

I suggest you call 407-WDW-DINE and ask for your request to be noted, and then, plan to check in at least 15 minutes prior to your ADR to remind them of your request. The great thing about the Grand Floridian (especially that time of year) is that there is plenty to see in the lobby. Don't forget to take lots of pictures of the gingerbread house! Thanks for visiting me on the Moms Panel. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
