ADR for 8:40 on June 8 at CP . What time do you recommend getting to MK? And, from WL, should we take the boat or drive our own car? What boat should we board if doing so?

    Hi Carrie,

I would recommend that you aim to arrive at the Magic Kingdom by 8.25am on the day of your dining reservation at the Crystal Palace.

The boats from Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort hotel do start running one hour prior to theme park opening which I can tell you from checking the online park calendar will be 9.00am on this particular day.
The Magic Kingdom parking lot will also be open at least one hour prior to theme park opening so the method of transport which you decide to take will be entirely down to your choice.

I personally would take the boat. If this is the method of transportation which you decide on, I would highly recommend that you be at the boat dock by no later than 7.45am that day to make sure that you get on the first boat of the day.

When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, proceed to a Cast Member on the entrance turnstiles and inform them that you have a breakfast reservation. You may be asked to provide your surname and/or your dining reservation number so be sure to have these details to hand. Once this information has been checked, you will then be allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom theme park prior to opening time which is a great chance to get some photographs on Main Street U.S.A. and in front of Cinderella Castle without any other Guests in the background.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
