We have ADR for the HoopDeeDo at 5pm. Do we have time to get to the Chip n Dale campfire? What is the best way to get there? 1st time to WDW! Trip is in March. Thank you!

    Heather:

You should have no problem getting to the Chip 'n' Dale's campfire sing-a-long after the early seating for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue!  But keep in mind that time will be tight if it's not Daylight Savings Time.

The start time will be 7 p.m. for the sing-a-long but usually will change to 8 p.m. once Daylight Savings Time begins (which is March 14 this year). So make sure and ask your waiter or go next door to Crockett's Tavern before the dinner show to confirm the time.

You have two choices on transportation to the campfire: a bus or your feet. The walk might do you good after a big dinner if the weather is pleasant, but it may be easier via bus just from logistics. From Pioneer Hall, head to your right to the bus stop and catch the Orange Line Bus that goes down the main thoroughfare of the fort and tell the driver that you would like to go to the campfire. They should drop you off at their first bus stop. From there, you can take the path from the 600 loop to the campfire or walk up to the Meadows Trading Post, cross its bridge and take a left. You'll see the giant movie screen.

Afterward, take a bus to The Outpost to catch a bus to your resort or ride back Pioneer Hall, where you can walk to the pier and take the boat back to the Magic Kingdom and get transportation back to your resort from there.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
