Hi Stephanie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm so excited that you were able to get a Dinner reservation at
Be Our Guest Restaurant - that is one hot ticket! There are times when certain restaurants will still allow reservations post-park closing, but typically not that late. I myself have a trip coming up and was able to book a Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre reservation for a time after Disney's Hollywood Studios listed park hours, but only by half an hour. I'm wondering if the hours of Magic Kingdom Park were extended for that day because I'm seeing that it now closes at
10 p.m. on March 2.
If you did have a giant chunk of time to fill between the park closing and your reservation, I would suggest jumping in the most popular attraction's queue right at closing time, because Disney will keep the ride or show going until the last guest has made it through the line. My favorite Disney Moment is to take nighttime photography once everyone has cleared out. And because buses will run up to two hours after each parks closing, there is plenty of time to leisurely walk around getting great photos. I have a picture of myself on a completely empty Main Street U.S.A. arms stretched out giving a big "Ta-Da!" because I was the only person on the street. I had to get a Security Guard to take the photo because my family had long abandoned me, but it was Disney Bucket List item checked off none the less.
Your options for getting home that night will be the Monorail or Ferryboat to the Ticket and Transportation Center until 11 p.m., or by Disney's complimentary Bus Transportation until Midnight.
I hope you enjoy your dinner with The Beast, Stephanie! (And get the Grey Stuff. I hear it's delicious. But to be fair, I've only asked the dishes.)
