Hi. I have an ADR for Be Our Guest. At 8am. I am staying off site this trip as I have only one day at Disney. I will probably not be renting a car. What is the best way to get to Magic Kingdom? And how much time should I plan for transportation?

Hey there, Stephanie! Thanks for stopping by and visiting with us again.

Since you won't have access to your own transportation and you're staying off property, I would suggest that you take Uber, Lyft, or a taxi from your Orlando area hotel.

We've done this plenty of times and have found that we get to the theme parks quickly and safely by using one of these services. Uber and Lyft require you to pay through their mobile app, but a taxi service may take cash or have the ability to use your preferred credit or debit card. The great part about using one of these car services is that you will be dropped off at the entrance of the theme park. You won't have to take the Monorail, bus or ferry from the Ticket and Transportation Center.

Your drive time to the Magic Kingdom will depend on where exactly you're staying in the Orlando area. It could take as long as 30 minutes or more if there is traffic. I would suggest leaving your hotel at least an hour before your Advanced Dining Reservation time. This will give you plenty of time to travel from your hotel and arrive at the Magic Kingdom entrance.

Enjoy your breakfast at Be Our Guest and be sure to get plenty of pictures of an almost empty theme park. I love that about early breakfast reservations!

If you have more questions, please stop by and see us again soon!
