We have an ADR at Be Our Guest on 23 April at 8am. MK opens at 9.00 am that day. We will not have a car. Can we utilise the Disney buses to get us to the park in time, as the buses only start one hour before park opening which is too late?

Hello, Catherine! Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning your magical vacation! Early breakfast reservations are a great way to jumpstart your magic morning in one of my favorite parks. I just know you will love Be Our Guest!

If Magic Kingdom opens at 9am, busses usually start running at 8am, so you are correct about that! However, with the new welcome show in place, busses may run earlier, and Disney knows they have guests scrambling towards scrambled eggs (get it?) and Mickey Waffles. In that case, please check with your Resort front desk or concierge; they will be able to give you a much more detailed bus schedule for that week. If in the event the busses are not running at a time that is convenient to you, you are welcome to snag a taxi to the Magic Kingdom, which will usually cost less than $20, guaranteeing you to be on time to breakfast. Your concierge can even arrange this for you the night before, leaving you to get ready and relax!

If you finish breakfast in enough time, you might be able to catch the welcome show, taking place at 8:50 on Cinderella Forecourt Stage, but don’t eat so fast that you get a tummy ache… you’ll want to be nice and settled for that spin around Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! Have a magical vacation, and please don’t hesitate to ask another question! ~Lindsey P.
