We have an ADR at The Garden Grill at Epcot at 7:00 p.m. Will it be possible to have a nice dinner and then see IllumiNations at 9:00?

    Hi there, Lisa!

Your two-hour window will allow you ample time to dine in style with Farmer Mickey and friends before wandering into World Showcase to catch the 9:00 PM showing of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.

Be advised that while you will definitely see the fireworks over World Showcase Lagoon, you might not get the best spot for viewing the visuals in the center of the lake. People tend to get "railing spots" fairly early to ensure themselves an unobstructed view of the entire show.

While much of the action does take place high in the sky, there is a decent portion that occurs in the middle of the lake. If you have small children or, like me, are never mistaken for a stiltwalker, you might consider having a goal time to leave the Garden Grill by, say, 8:15 PM to find a viewing spot that will accommodate your party. I would hate for you to miss any of the spectacular visual elements that make up the show.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
