Hello, Tina. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
The Plaza Restaurant is actually one of my very favorite places to dine while at
Walt Disney World. It's hard to land a reservation and I'm always excited when my husband sweet talks one of the Cast Members and we get to eat there. The restaurant itself just takes me back in time and I feel like I could be sitting next to Walt Disney, himself. Plus, the view of Cinderella Castle isn't bad either. The Plaza Restaurant is just like any other table service meal that you'd experience. Cast Members do their best to seat Guests at the time of their reservation, however, that also depends on the people dining before you. I've never experienced a long wait for my meal and I have found that breakfast food, in general, is pretty quick to make. I'm not for sure, but I am guessing the day you are hoping to dine here,
Magic Kingdom Park is set to open at 9:00 a.m. If that's the case, I think you'd be wrapping up your meal by then but not completely finished and you certainly don't want to rush. Main Street U.S.A. is typically open to all Guests 1 hour before the park itself opens. During this time, Guests can shop and grab a bite to eat if they wish. If you have a pre-park opening reservation, like the 8:25 a.m. time, you'll most likely be allowed in at around 7:40 a.m. This is great because you can get those coveted photos of Cinderella Castle and your family with hardly anyone else in the background.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions please come back and ask.
Happy dining!
