We have an 8:10a ADR at Crystal Palace on a non-EMH day. If we finish breakfast before park opening at 9am, can we go and get in line to meet Anna & Elsa to beat the crowds? Also heard that a group MUST stay in line together so a parent can't go ahead?

    Hi Donna,

Having early morning character breakfasts is one of my family's favorite traditions!  Just last week my family enjoyed another magical breakfast with Pooh and friends at the Crystal Palace.  If you haven't tried the puffed French toast before, you need to try it out!  It is my favorite.

It sounds like you have an amazing morning planned for your family Donna!  From my recent experience, I can tell you that the Cast Members do an excellent job of helping the Guests enter the appropriate areas of the theme parks at the correct time.  Although you certainly have the advantage of being inside the Magic Kingdom at rope drop, you will not be able to go to any attractions until they are opened for all Guests.  Therefore, you can sit back and enjoy your character meal to the fullest!  You will have plenty of time to reach Princess Anna and Queen Elsa after you visit with the gang from the hundred acre woods.

Also, you are correct that everyone who wishes to experience an attraction must enter the queue themselves.  You cannot hold a place in line for somebody else.  Since you will be coming from breakfast at Crystal Palace, you might consider having everyone in your group visit the restroom before heading to your next attraction.  From personal experience I can tell you it is no fun to have to leave the queue with your little ones when nature calls.

Thank you for taking time to submit your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Please come back and visit us again in the future.  We love to help other families plan their MAGICAL Disney vacations!

    Blessings,
