    We have ADR at Coral Reef at 8:15 pm on Dec. 7, will we be able to make Illuminations which is scheduled for 9:30 pm that day?

    Hi Linda,

    I find that a table service meal at Walt Disney World typically takes about 90 minutes from the moment you are escorted to your table until you are walking out of the restaurant.  You would be better off just leisurely enjoying your meal and the ambiance of the restaurant rather than rushing through dinner to watch a show.

    Having said that, I know what it feels like to have limited time to see everything you want to when you're at Walt Disney World.  Holiday Illuminations is beautiful.  If you still want to try to do both, I would do the following:

    • Arrive at Coral Reef at least 1/2 hour before your reservation time.  You may be able to be seated early. 
    • Let your server know that you are in a bit of a hurry.
    • Towards the end of the meal, have the majority of the party head out to stake out a spot.  Make sure whoever stays behind has a cell phone so that you can find each other.
